SUMMARY: Provides program assistance to help with identifying quality key stakeholders in the water and
energy sector. As well as assist with obtaining water-energy data and scheduling workshops and seminars
throughout Tulare County. Great opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong communications,

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Identifying/qualifying key stakeholders in targeted sectors
2. Assisting in obtaining water- energy data
3. Scheduling and logistics support for workshops, webinars, and meetings
4. General marketing & outreach; assists in the design and development of marketing materials for
the energy division
5. Prepares PowerPoint presentations for marketing and training purpose
6. Prepares flyers, reports, and presentations using Adobe programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop,
and InDesign
7. Serves as representative of the Energy Division at various council meetings, community events
and other functions as required
8. Develops and writes reports as needed
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or six years of directly
related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Moderate computer skills required for data entry, Word, Excel, and other
software programs, as required for the position. General understanding of Adobe; Illustrator, Photoshop,
and InDesign.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical
journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to effectively present information to
management, pubic groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of
basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Access to transportation and California drivers’
license and minimum auto insurance required by law.
