Proteus is gearing up for the Community Action Plan (CAP) Public Hearing. This highly anticipated gathering is scheduled to take place, June 23rd from 10-11am, at the Proteus administration building, 1830 N. Dinuba Blvd. Visalia, CA 93291. This hearing serves as a platform for community members to share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas regarding the implementation of the CAP. By providing an opportunity for public comments from now until June 23rd, Proteus is taking a significant step towards ensuring that all voices are heard and considered in shaping the future of the community.

The Community Action Plan is a comprehensive framework developed during our community forums held in March and April which focused on the needs and aspirations of its residents. It encompasses a wide range of areas, including social issues for farmworkers, infrastructure, economic development, and public safety. Through an extensive process of community engagement, input gathering, and analysis, the CAP represents a collective vision of a better future for Proteus.

The public hearing is a vital component of the CAP implementation process. It allows community members to actively participate in decision-making, offer their perspectives, and express concerns or suggestions related to specific aspects of the plan. By welcoming public comments, Proteus demonstrates a commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusivity. Ultimately, the public's feedback will shape the policies, initiatives, and projects that Proteus undertakes to improve the quality of life for all its residents.

We are now accepting public comments via our website, email or in person, June 23rd from 10-11am
