SUMMARY: Assists Asset Management / Procurement team in day to day operations to help support and maintain efficiency, accuracy, and accountability to further support the Energy Division’s production goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.

1. Assists in the intake and disbursement of materials and equipment.

2. Assist with data entry, processing and filing of purchase requisitions & purchase orders

3. Receives product and verifies that all merchandise received matches the ship tickets.

4. Assists in maintaining the inventory control system, which includes distributing, tracking and physical inventory.

5. Keeps the Warehouse clean and free from debris.

6. Delivers materials/parts to Installers/Techs at job sites as needed. Also delivered documents and materials to various Proteus office locations.

7. Communicates status of inventory with Asset Management/ Procurement Supervisor and Energy Division Supervisor’s.

8. Reports to direct Supervisor any unsafe conditions or problem areas.

9. Implements and enforces safety rules and procedures when performing daily tasks.

10. Assist with Property Maintenance projects.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent. One-year experience installing various appliances. Ability to work with electrical wiring, copper tubing and plumbing required.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees or organizations. Must be personable and be able to effectively communicate with others from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Southeast Asian dialect) required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Access to transportation, California driver’s license, and minimum auto insurance as required by law.
