It's National School Counselors Week! Proteus would like to recognize Noah Arzola of the William M. Maguy School of Education, Main Campus & Yolanda Frausto of the WMSE, Delano Service Center.

Yolanda is truly a Proteus success story! Her journey with Proteus started over 25 years ago as a program participant who was later brought on as an employee. Through the years she has been instrumental in helping and encouraging students with subsidized opportunities, job placement assistance, supportive services and facilitating job readiness workshops. Besides being big-hearted and approachable, she has an innate ability to nurture. She is currently performing outreach to enroll students in our William M. Maguy School of Education General Clerk Program - Delano location. Yolanda provides one-on-one guidance to each and every student and supports them to help them reach their potential in the workplace as well as in life. At home, Yolanda provides much TLC for her 98 yr old mother. She’s married, has 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Yolanda enjoys creating & caring for her beautiful garden, she loves music and gatherings with her very large extended family.

Noah supports students in Career and Technical Education (CTE) Training, General Office Occupations, Forklift Certification, Energy Careers Training, and Truck Driving. He is dedicated to supporting our students to overcome barriers and coaches them in career search skills such as resume building and modern interview techniques to help WMSE students find meaningful careers. Noah enjoys photography, traveling, camping, and cooking.

Thank you, both for your hard work and dedication to our students and team! #proteuscares #NSCW23
