Customer Success Story: Esteban

Esteban had been job-hopping through multiple minimum wage part-time jobs, struggling to find direction and a stable career path. He visited the Tulare County Workforce Investment Board (TCWIB), where counselor Bernardo referred him to WMSE. Through this partnership, he enrolled in William M Maguy School of Education and completed his CDL training on 06/25/2025, passing his test on 08/08/2025. Esteban obtained his Commercial Driver's License and was hired by Bueno Beverage shortly after completing the program. Today, he is earning $25 an hour, more than double what he was making in his previous positions. With his CDL certification and proven work ethic, Esteban now has a bright future in the transportation sector, having successfully transitioned from unstable, low-wage employment to a rewarding career with strong growth potential and financial stability.
